Race around the board and be the first to reach the Millennium Falcon in the centre of the board! Land on R2-D2 and C-3PO action spaces or an opponent's Token to trigger a Top Trumps Battle. The winner gets a Super Boost!
When one player has all their Tokens in the Millennium Falcon, they win, and the game is over!
Aim of the Game
Be the first to move all 4 of your Tokens to the Millennium Falcon in the centre of the board.
Contents
Game Board, 16 Plastic Tokens (4 of each colour), 16 Cardboard Portraits for Tokens, 22 Top Trumps Cards and 1 Die.
Key board areas include the Starting Planet, Starting Space, Draw Pile, R2-D2 space, C-3PO space, Base of the Ladder, Ladder and Millennium Falcon at the centre of the board.
Note: You must travel diagonally from one side of a planet area to the other, following the arrows.
Setup
- Assemble your Tokens. Each player puts all 4 of their Tokens on the planet that corresponds to their Token colour.
- Shuffle the cards and place them face down in a pile beside the board. This is the Draw Pile.
Note: For a 2-player game, you can play with one or two characters each.
Move
- Roll the die and move one of your Tokens the number of spaces shown, moving in the direction of the arrows. Moving from your planet onto the Starting Space counts as one step.
- You can move your Tokens off your planet at any point during the game. You do not need to wait for one of your Tokens to reach the Millennium Falcon before moving your next Token.
Note: In Dash, rolling a 6 does not allow you to roll again!
Action Spaces
There are 8 action spaces on your path:
-
R2-D2 space: Move that Token forwards 6 spaces immediately.
-
C-3PO space: Choose another player's Token to attack and move their Token backwards 6 spaces.
Moving an opponent's Token backwards may send it back to their planet, as Tokens cannot move further back around the board than their Starting Space.
Once you've chosen which Token to attack, you cannot change your mind. If you touch it, it has to move! You cannot attack a Token that's already on a Ladder.
Tip: Be careful which Token you choose to attack. If it lands on an R2-D2 space, it will move forwards again!
If two Tokens of different colours land on the same space, there will be a Battle. Battles may be triggered using the R2-D2 or C-3PO action spaces, so use them wisely.
Sharing Spaces
- Two Tokens of the same colour can occupy a space without a Battle, but no more than two.
- If your Token is about to land on a space with two Tokens already on it, you have to stop your Token one space early.
- If your Token is sent backwards towards a space with two Tokens on it, you also have to stop one space early.
- You can jump straight over a space with two Tokens on it, but that space still counts as part of your move.
Climb the Ladder
- The Ladder is the final challenge! All your Tokens must reach the Millennium Falcon at the centre of the board by climbing up to the starship from the base of the Ladder matching the colour of your Tokens.
- When one of your Tokens reaches the base of the Ladder, keep going! Use the total number shown on the die.
- You need an exact roll to reach the top of the Ladder. If you roll too high and have one or more moves left, your Token bounces back down the Ladder by that many spaces.
Remember: Once one of your Tokens has reached your Ladder, it can no longer be attacked!
When one player moves all their Tokens onto the Millennium Falcon, they are the winner and the game is over!
Battle
If you land on a space occupied by an opponent's Token, you must Battle, regardless of how you got there.
Note: Battles are always prioritised over any Action play! The Action play is applied only after the Battle ends, regardless of outcome.
- When a player's Token lands on a space occupied by an opponent, those 2 players must each draw a Top Trumps card from the top of the Draw Pile. The player landing on the occupied space starts the Battle by choosing which category to Battle with and reading out the stat they have chosen from their card.
- The player who was already on the space then reads out the corresponding stat from their card.
- The player with the highest value wins. Then put both cards to the side.
- The winner of the Battle gets a SUPER BOOST and immediately moves their winning Token forward 10 spaces! The loser stays where they are.
- If there's a draw, start a new Battle by each picking up a second card from the Draw Pile, but using the same stat category.
- If the post-Battle move takes you to another occupied space, it triggers a new Battle. Again, the player who lands on an already occupied space gets to draw their Battle card first from the Draw Pile and choose and call the stat, and the same Battle process is underway!
Note: The second player to enter a space always chooses first.
Tip: You cannot battle against yourself, but you can use Battles to move quickly around the board. If the Draw Pile is used up, take all the cards from the side, shuffle them and form a new pile.
